Who am I ?

My name is Alexis, I'm French and I'm 27. I work during the week in accounting. I like to meet new people from all over the world to share our customs and way of life.
If you've come to my site, it's probably because you want to visit France or move to this magnificent country with its centuries-old history, while being accompanied.

And yes, who better than a local to help you familiarize yourself with the country and its many administrative formalities as all every organized country:
income tax return, health insurance and complementary health insurance, housing assistance, applying for a place in a nursery or school for your children, finding accommodation, transport passes...

Since the start of my higher education studies, I've taken care of a lot of formalities for foreign student friends, my family and myself.

From applying for housing assistance (around €200/300 a month paid to help you pay your rent) to applying for health insurance for foreign students (which, by the way, is done on a different site from residents in France) to the annual tax return and many more, the French administrative procedures no longer scare me.

As a first step, if you would like me to help you with any of the formalities or for your moving in France, I suggest you get in touch with me via the "Contact me" tab or directly by e-mail (see footer) and tell me more about yourself and the steps you're taking. That way, I'll be able to tell you if I can help you.

I'm available all day at weekends and from 7 pm to 11 pm Monday to Friday

Having a local assistant can help you take care of the annoying aspects of your stay and avoid the stress associated with the language barrier and change of environment. It can also be reassuring to be surrounded by a local when traveling in a foreign country, as certain codes may differ from those in your home country. Also french administrative procedures are perceived as nightmarish by us, the French! So good luck to you ;)

I'm kidding, everything's going to be fine ! It's just a matter of getting used to it and... practice.

So, whether you're planning to stay in Paris for 1 week or for the rest of your life, which is, let's face it, the right choice ;) I can, for example :

  • meet you at the airport to look after and carry your luggages until your home ✈️🧳🛍️🚕

  • help you move in 🔑🏠📦

  • and, more generally, to help you get settled in Paris (administrative paperwork) 📝✔️👪

  • for tourists, we can visit the most emblematic places in Paris

This list is not exhaustive, we can discuss any request that would be in my field of expertise, through a written request directly in "Contact me" or by sending me an e-mail (see footer)

⚠️Finally, I must confess that I'm far from bilingual, but these days, thanks to translation sites like DeepL, we can work miracles :) Ok seriously! My level of English is intermediate (B1/B2) and a french that speaks english perfectly, it's suspicious.
